..the other bike..

Due to the uncoolness of this project, being a modern bike, being a jap bike, I was keeping this in the closet... but now I'm coming out and want the world to know, I got to let it show, I'm coming out! ... oeps sorry about that... anyway back to the project..
Yes it's a V-star, Dragstar... some what chopped frame ;), bluemoonkustoms paint job, some super sixties, S&S super E... I've had this bike for like 13 years or so... It always runs! that the best thing about it, it takes abuse... no problem!

He's the man!
I've got much respect for Niels. He's a real dare devil and rides this creation. Or should I say, creature? 'Coz it's alive and it throws stuff at me while i'm riding behind it. stuff, like pieces of wiring, tank-caps and litres of oil. And he makes a policeman not noticing this shit (shatting an talking about the nice Police BMW "nice radio, and ohhh, those are nice hand cuffs!") while standing next to it. I've been at Niels place a few weeks before but then he scored a set of new pipes. "These hexagon pipes are looking better, or those fishy tails?" he asked. "Why not shooting photo's of the bike with both pipes?" I asked? Another reason for going there again is that they have delicious pie-cake too.

Niels' Triumph 3TA
Niels collected shitloads of cool 70's parts all over the years. A Triumph 3TA is dressed up with a coffin tank, painted by Blue Moon Kustoms. But what about the Invader wheels, Ron Finch springer, the Bunny Bars, king & queen seat and last but not least the trident sissybar... Oh I forgot the fishtails, and the coffin rear light, and the Aris headlight... and of course the Iron Cross mirrors... Did I mention the octagon shaped oil-tank? Oh man, this bike is sooo twisted, but twisted in a great way! Thanks for the nice day, Niels!

Time is flying by when having fun, it's a phrase that's really true! I found this out yesterday at the RMC Choppershow 2010, organised by the Rogues from Opmeer. A lot of cool bikes of all makes, sizes and colours and home-built exclusively. What more do we wish?

Niels took his Triumph in the back of his Skoda... in parts! No kidding!!

I'll post his write up for the Bigtwin magazine and the BSH zine as soon as I get them scanned..

...what's been up the last couple of months???

F*ck, where do I start?

We, the bike (now named 'The Necromancer') and me, went to the Rogues MC choppershow last easter... Mmm, its november now...

Got the bike running with great thanx to Geoff...

Floris Velthuis came by twice to do a shoot...
Twice due to 'new' pipes on the bike a week after the new first shoot...

F*cked around with the bike... mostly in the shed...

We did the Bigtwin custombike show this november...

So I'll be posting some pics from the last months...
And at work when I have a second I draw a few lines forming 'The tales of the -cursed- Necromancer'... It's kinda like a comic/storyboard thing about the crap, fun and other stuff me and The Necromancer go through... It's nothing serious.. It just a way to get my mind of work and relax a few seconds... It's not art but still I'm the preformer and the preformed... :)
Cronologically speaking is there no order what so ever.... just chaos...
